Cowboy Boots: What Women Want

So you fancy yourself a cowgirl. Good for you! Taking on such an image means you probably want to look tough, rugged, feminine and sexy all at the same time. For shorter ladies who wish to accentuate their stature, skirts that come just below knee level will highlight their adorably petite stature - just make sure it doesn't make you appear...diminished. Knee-length skirts are actually very nice for tall ladies. For shorter ladies, a pair of skinny jeans or leggings tucked into the boots, especially model-heeled boots, can give the illusion of being a little bit taller. Shorter skirts can also be worn with boots, as well as shorts. For larger ladies, wearing jeans over the boots is ideal for evening out your lines, and for slim ladies, you might find you like your jeans better tucked in. But that really all depends on the type of jeans you're wearing. Wide-legged or flared jeans should always be worn outside of your cowboy boots. Skinny or tapered jeans should be tucked in, and if you are a larger woman, these types of jeans are best if avoided altogether.



Remember, despite your notions of traditional western wear worn by the cowboys of the Old West, cowboy boots are not just for the boys. They are fantastic for women, too. So go grab a few pairs of cowboy boots and start coming up with some great outfits. You will surely look amazing in them as long as you are pairing them with the right clothes, be that western apparel or more modern styles.
